Is My Funded Futures worth paying for? It can be, if the way you trade fits one of its plans. This My Funded Futures review reads the firm the way a buyer should: what each plan costs, how and when it pays, and which rules close accounts. MFFU publishes nearly all of it in its help center, which counts in its favour. It also asks for a one-time payment, a trade at least every 7 days, and arbitration instead of chargebacks.

We read every figure below on the MFFU help center on October 14, 2026. Several of the pages changed in late August, when new evaluations moved to a one-time payment. MyTradingBuddy is not affiliated with My Funded Futures.

My Funded Futures review: the short answer

  • Is My Funded Futures legit? It runs a rules-based evaluation business and publishes its payout policy, processing times and refund terms. It says more than 100,000 traders use it. We could not check that number.
  • What you buy: a one-time evaluation, then a simulated funded account. Payouts come from the sim funded stage. A live account is a later step that MFFU's risk team decides.
  • Who it suits: traders who keep size small, trade at least once a week and can stay flat around CPI and FOMC on the plans that require it.
  • Who should skip it: anyone who wants to hold positions overnight on Builder, or who takes long breaks without telling support.

The My Funded Futures plans in one table

Every 50K evaluation has the same $3,000 profit target and a $2,000 end-of-day max loss. The Builder Add-On option cuts the max loss to $1,500 for a lower price. The real differences are contract limits, consistency and minimum days.

Rapid and Builder come in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K. Rapid EOD stops at 50K, and Pro starts there and goes to 150K. All of this sits on MFFU's Traders Evaluation Simplified page.

There is also a fifth shape called Studio, sold on its own page. Studio #001 is a $10,000 account for $140 and Studio #002 a $20,000 account for $280. Its max loss is static ($500 and $1,000) and never trails. It allows micros only, with no consistency rule and no minimum days. It runs on one platform, Hyperprop, and a daily purchase cap can sell it out until midnight ET.

What My Funded Futures costs

New evaluations bought since August 25, 2026 are a one-time payment. Nothing renews monthly, and MFFU charges no activation fee on any plan. The help center lists prices for Builder and Studio:

PlanListed priceActivation fee
Builder 50K, $2,000 max loss$153, or $107 with the 30% discount$0
Builder 50K Add-On, $1,500 max loss$125, or $87 with the 30% discount$0
Studio #001, $10K$140$0
Studio #002, $20K$280$0

Rapid and Pro prices appear at checkout rather than in the help center. MFFU also runs coupon codes often, so compare the checkout price on the day you buy.

Two money rules matter as much as the price. A full refund is possible within 14 days only if you have placed no trade and the account is still active. Crypto purchases are never refunded. And MFFU's refund and cancellation policy says that by signing up you accept binding arbitration and give up chargebacks.

How My Funded Futures pays out

The three main plans pay from a simulated funded account once you clear a buffer. Builder and Pro split 80/20. Rapid has paid 90/10 since January 12, 2026. MFFU says most requests are approved instantly, and that a manual review takes 6 to 12 business hours on weekdays.

Builder's 50% rule means your best day can be no more than half of the cycle's profit. Its first payout also needs $500 of profit above the buffer, so a 50K account has to reach $2,600. Ask for $1,500 at 80/20 and $1,200 reaches you. Pro allows one early withdrawal of up to 60% of profits before the buffer is fully cleared, still with the $1,000 minimum.

The full arithmetic is in our guide to My Funded Futures payout rules. How a 50% ratio plays out over a cycle is in prop firm consistency rule explained.

The rules that close MFFU accounts

Most accounts end on a rule, not on one bad week. These are the ones we would read twice:

  1. Rapid's intraday trailing max loss. On the Rapid 50K sim funded account the limit trails $2,000 below your equity high-water mark during the day, open profit included, and locks once it reaches $100. A trade that gives back its open profit has still moved your floor. Our trailing drawdown explainer shows why that hurts.
  2. Tier 1 news. Rapid and Pro sim funded accounts must hold no positions or orders from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after FOMC meetings, FOMC minutes, the employment report and CPI, plus EIA and crop reports for those markets. For an 8:30 release you are flat by 8:28 and back after 8:32. Evaluations and Builder accounts are not restricted.
  3. Inactivity. On accounts bought from August 25, 2026, 7 calendar days without a trade can close the account, sim funded included. Tell support before a holiday. The wording is on MFFU's inactivity rule page.
  4. Prohibited practices. No high-frequency trading, no hedging of any kind (long NQ against short MNQ counts), no copying another trader, no shared devices, and nothing built to exploit simulated fills. Profits from a breach are confiscated.
  5. Builder housekeeping. One Builder sim funded account at a time, positions closed at the end of each session, and a 21-day cooldown if a live account is breached.

What the help center does not settle

A fair review also says what it could not confirm.

  • Rapid's largest request. The Rapid pages give a $500 minimum and no maximum per request.
  • Rapid and Pro prices. Not listed in the help center. Check the checkout.
  • Ratings and payout volume. MFFU's 100,000-trader figure is its own. We could not load its Trustpilot page on October 14, 2026, so this review makes no claim about ratings.
  • Live accounts. Builder becomes eligible after the fifth approved sim payout and Pro after 3 consecutive payouts. Rapid moves after a $10,000 net day or a risk-team decision. A $20,000 profit milestone on Pro triggers a review, and MFFU says it may not lead to a live account.

Who My Funded Futures suits, and who should pick another firm

Rapid's daily payouts and 90/10 split reward a trader who can protect an intraday trailing floor and sit out Tier 1 news. Builder suits someone who wants a payout from two solid days and does not mind a soft daily pause and flattening at the close. Pro fits a patient trader who is happy with a 14-day rhythm and larger minimum requests. Studio is a small, static-drawdown test for micro traders.

MFFU suits you less if you trade the news on Rapid or Pro, hold overnight on Builder, or step away for more than a week. To weigh it against other firms, our ranking of the best futures prop firms compares drawdown, consistency and payout rules side by side. A five-minute check before you buy MFFU

  • Pick the drawdown type that fits how you trade: intraday trailing (Rapid), end-of-day trailing (Rapid EOD, Builder, Pro) or static (Studio).
  • Write down the buffer, minimum request and consistency limit for your size.
  • Put the week's CPI, jobs and FOMC times in your calendar if you will hold a Rapid or Pro sim funded account.
  • Set a reminder to trade at least once every 7 days.
  • Decide on the refund before your first trade, because trading closes that door.
  • Re-read your plan page on the day you buy. We checked these figures on October 14, 2026, and MFFU changes them.

A contract limit or a news window is easy to forget in the moment. MyTradingBuddy Ai checks a chart screenshot against the trading plan you wrote, including your size limit, before you enter. You still make the call. See MyTradingBuddy plans.

Nothing here is financial advice. MFFU's live help center wins if it disagrees with this page.
