Goat Funded Futures plans compared: GOAT Daily, Flex, EOD, 1-Day Pass, Instant Classic and Instant Lite

Goat Funded Futures now sells six different ways to get a funded futures account, and they do not share a rulebook. One pays every 24 hours but trails your drawdown intraday. One has no daily loss limit at all. One skips the evaluation and hands you 100% of the first $10,000. This Goat Funded Futures review puts the six side by side on a 50K account, with the payout math worked through.

We read every rule in October 2026, on October 4, on GFF's own help center and pricing page. GFF edits these pages often, so check the plan page for your account before you buy and before each payout.

What Goat Funded Futures is

GOAT Funded Futures (GFF) is the futures arm of the Goat Funded Trader brand. The futures site links to goatfundedtrader.com for forex, checkout runs through Goat Funded Trader's app, and the footer names WITI LIMITED, a Hong Kong company, as the business behind the GoatFundedFutures name. You trade simulated accounts on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT products such as NQ, ES, CL and GC.

The six plans:

  • GOAT Daily (the help center calls it Daily Payouts): an evaluation, then a payout request every 24 hours.
  • Flex: an evaluation with no daily loss limit and no consistency rule once funded.
  • EOD: the cheapest evaluation, with end-of-day trailing drawdown.
  • 1-Day Pass: no consistency rule in the evaluation, payouts every 5 winning days.
  • Instant Classic: no evaluation, 100% of your first $10,000 in payouts.
  • Instant Lite: no evaluation and a lower price, with tight consistency.

Every plan is a one-time fee with a $0 activation fee. There is no monthly subscription on any of them.

Goat Funded Futures rules: plans, prices and targets

On the evaluation plans the target is 6% with no time limit and no minimum days. GFF was running a 50% code (AUTUMN50) on October 4, and its help pages quote the discounted price next to the list price, so both are shown here. Instant Lite's page shows a single price of $229.

Evaluation accounts get two resets each. Funded and instant accounts cannot be reset.

Drawdown and daily loss limit, with an example

Most GFF plans use an end-of-day trailing drawdown: the floor moves up with your closing balance and stops once it reaches the starting balance (plus $100 on GOAT Daily and Instant Lite). Two plans break that pattern, and that is where traders get hurt.

The funded GOAT Daily account and Instant Classic trail intraday, in real time, including open profit. GFF's own GOAT Daily example: equity touches $51,400 during the session, and the floor jumps from $48,000 to $49,400 at once. It never comes back down, even if the trade reverses. Once equity reaches $52,100, the floor locks at $50,100.

Now run the same trade on Flex. You are up $1,400 at the high, then close the day flat at $50,000. On end-of-day trailing the floor stays at $48,000, because your closing balance never rose. On the funded GOAT Daily account you would sit $600 from the floor instead of $2,000.

Daily loss limits differ too. On EOD, 1-Day Pass and Instant Classic, hitting the limit is a soft breach: positions close and you trade again next session. On GOAT Daily and Instant Lite the third hit closes the account (GOAT Daily counts any rolling 30 days). Flex has no daily limit at all, so the trailing floor is the only line.

Goat Funded Futures payout rules: buffer, consistency, caps

50K planSplitWhen you can askPer requestFunded consistency
GOAT Daily90/10Every 24 hours, no winning daysUp to $1,000, from profit above $52,100None
Flex80/20, 90/10 add-onEvery 5 winning days of $250+50% of profit, max $2,000None
EOD80/20, 90/10 add-onEvery 7 winning days of $100+50% of profit, $1,500 rising to $2,75030%
1-Day Pass80/20, 90/10 add-onEvery 5 winning days of $100+50% of profit, $1,500 rising to $2,50035%
Instant Classic100% of first $10,000, then 90%Every 7 winning days, first after 10 calendar daysMax $2,00020%
Instant Lite90/10Once the target is met ($3,000, then $2,400)Max $2,00015%, then 20%, then 25%

Four things in the fine print change what you take home.

Request windows. EOD, Flex, 1-Day Pass and Instant Classic only take requests from the 5th to the 8th and the 20th to the 23rd of each month. Finish your winning days on the 9th and you wait until the 20th.

The 3% fee. GFF deducts 3% from every Goat Funded Futures payout for processing, per its payout processing page. Payouts go through Rise. GFF processes requests within two business days, and its homepage offers an extra $500 if it misses that.

The split add-on. On Flex, EOD and 1-Day Pass the default is 80/20. The 90/10 add-on costs 20% of the challenge price. GFF's own Flex example: $4,700 of profit lets you request the $2,000 cap. At 80/20 you get $1,600, or $1,552 after the 3% fee. At 90/10 you get $1,800, or $1,746. The add-on cost $21.80 on the $109 Flex 50K, so it paid for itself on the first request.

The daily progression rule. On GOAT Daily, at least half of every request must be profit made since your last payout. GFF's example: balance $53,400, $700 made since yesterday's payout. You may ask for up to $1,400, the 50K cap trims it to $1,000, the split leaves $900, and $873 arrives after the fee.

Consistency works the same way on every plan that has it: your best day divided by total profit for the period. On EOD's 30% rule, a $1,500 day means you need $5,000 before asking. Missing it never breaches the account, it just delays the request. Our prop firm consistency rule explained guide has the full arithmetic.

Platforms and trading restrictions

GFF supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView through Tradovate, DeepCharts, ATAS, TickBlaze and Quantower, though not every platform is offered on every plan.

The restrictions matter more than the platform list:

  • No overnight or weekend holds. Positions close automatically at 15:55 CT (4:55 p.m. ET, 20:55 UTC) on most plans.
  • Funded accounts cannot open, close or trigger orders within 2 minutes either side of a high-impact release. GOAT Daily applies this in the evaluation too. If you trade NQ around CPI or FOMC, read trading NQ during high-impact news first.
  • On EOD, 1-Day Pass and Instant Classic, profit from trades closed within 2 minutes is deducted. Flex uses a 1-minute test and GOAT Daily a 60-second test at each request. Tick scalping is banned everywhere.
  • On Flex, one huge day followed by bare-minimum days to tick off the count can see the payout withheld.
  • Place a trade at least every 7 days, or the account is breached.
  • GOAT Daily and Instant Lite are manual only. No bots.

Is the GFF prop firm a good fit? Pros, cons and who it suits

GFF publishes unusually detailed help pages, with worked examples on almost every rule. That makes it easier to judge than many firms. The trade-off is complexity: six plans, each with its own drawdown type, consistency rule, cap table and scalping test.

What we like:

  • The EOD 50K is the cheapest 50K in the lineup: $69 during the promo, $138 list.
  • Flex has no daily loss limit and no funded consistency rule.
  • GOAT Daily pays every 24 hours at 90/10 with no winning-day count.
  • One-time fees, no activation fee, two resets per evaluation.

What gives us pause:

  • Payout windows twice a month on four plans.
  • 80/20 by default unless you pay for the add-on.
  • Intraday trailing on funded GOAT Daily and Instant Classic.
  • A 3% fee on every payout, and no overnight holds.

Who it suits: EOD for a low-cost first attempt if you can wait for windows. Flex if daily limits keep ending your accounts. GOAT Daily if steady small days and frequent withdrawals fit you, and you can respect an intraday floor. The instant plans only if your days are already very even, because a 15% or 20% consistency rule punishes one big session.

Protecting the evaluation fee

On GFF the fee is usually lost in one of three moments: a winner that tags an intraday floor on the way back, a news spike inside the 2-minute buffer, or one oversized day that blocks the consistency math for weeks.

Each is a decision made before the entry, so slow that decision down. Write down your floor, your daily limit and your largest allowed day before the session. Then ask whether this trade fits all three. Our how to pass a prop firm challenge guide covers the routine.

MyTradingBuddy gives you that calm second read. It reads your chart across timeframes before you enter and shows where the setup breaks the plan you wrote. It never places a trade. You still make the call.

MyTradingBuddy is not affiliated with Goat Funded Futures or Goat Funded Trader. These rules were checked on October 4, 2026. Recheck GFF's help center before you buy.
