My Funded Futures payout rules now come in three versions for new accounts: Rapid, Builder and Pro. Each plan has its own buffer, schedule, consistency rule and split, and the old Flex plan sits in MFFU's legacy section. A sim funded account at MFFU starts at a $0 balance, so every number below is profit, not account value. We put the three plans side by side, then run the arithmetic on a 50K so you know what a request is worth before you press it.
We read every figure on the MFFU help center on October 4, 2026. Several of the key pages were updated in August 2026, after MFFU moved new evaluations to a one-time payment on August 25. This page is about getting paid. For the evaluation itself, see how to pass My Funded Futures.
When My Funded Futures pays (the short answer)
- Rapid: daily, from 24 hours after your first trade, once $2,100 of realized profit sits in a 50K account.
- Builder: from 48 hours after your first trade, per cycle, with at least 2 qualifying days and a 50% consistency rule.
- Pro: every 14 calendar days, counted from the day of your first trade.
Before any of them, you complete KYC in the dashboard and open a Riseworks account, which is where a my funded futures payout lands. From Riseworks you withdraw by bank transfer or crypto. MFFU says most requests are approved instantly, and a manual review takes 6 to 12 business hours on weekdays.

Buffers by size:
| Size | Rapid | Builder | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,100 | $1,100 | No 25K |
| 50K | $2,100 | $2,100 | $2,100 |
| 100K | $3,100 | See the 100K page | $3,100 |
| 150K | $4,600 | See the 150K page | $4,600 |
Rapid also comes in an end-of-day version. Its 50K uses the same $2,100 buffer and $500 minimum, the max loss trails only on new end-of-day highs, and you can hold up to three of them funded.
The buffer and winning-day requirements
Look at the buffers next to the max loss. On every size we checked, the buffer is the max loss plus $100: $2,000 + $100 on the 50K, $1,000 + $100 on the Rapid 25K, $4,500 + $100 on the Pro 150K. On Rapid, MFFU says the trailing max loss locks once it reaches $100, and the buffer is exactly the profit that gets it there. Clear the buffer and the floor stops chasing you.
On Builder, MFFU spells the cash rule out. The first payout needs $500 of profit above the buffer, so $2,600 on a 50K. Every later payout needs $500 of new profit since the last one. After the first payout, MFFU's overview says the max loss resets to $100.
Rapid's page asks you to build at least $2,100 of realized profit before the first request, with a $500 minimum. It does not say whether the buffer must stay in the account afterwards, so read the withdrawable figure on your dashboard rather than assuming. On the Rapid EOD 50K, later payouts unlock at $500 of net profit since the last one.
What about winning days? The current plans do not use a five-winning-day count. Builder asks for at least 2 qualifying days per cycle; its page does not define a qualifying day in dollars, so check the dashboard counter. The 5-winning-day rule ($150 a day on a 50K) belongs to the legacy Flex plan. If you still hold a Flex account, its own page applies.
My Funded Futures consistency rule with a worked example
Only Builder applies a consistency rule to payouts. Your largest profit day cannot exceed half of total profit for the cycle. Rapid and Pro list no consistency rule in their payout tables. Pro has a separate policy asking for uniform position sizing and warning against maximum size on every trade or flipping contracts to show activity, so the MFFU rules still look at how you trade there.
Here is a Builder 50K cycle, day by day:
| Day | Day P&L | Cycle profit | Best day share | Can you request? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +$1,800 | $1,800 | 100% | No, buffer not cleared |
| 2 | +$300 | $2,100 | 86% | No, needs $500 above the buffer |
| 3 | +$700 | $2,800 | 64% | No, best day above 50% |
| 4 | +$800 | $3,600 | 50% | Yes |
On day 4 you have $1,500 above the buffer. That sits between the $500 minimum and the $2,000 cap, so you can ask for all of it, and at 80/20 you keep $1,200. The big first day cost two extra sessions. Had day 1 been $900, day 3 would have cleared. We go through the ratio in more detail in prop firm consistency rule explained.
Caps, split and payout frequency
Rapid pays 90/10, as of January 12, 2026, with daily requests and a $500 minimum. The route to live is blunt: make $10,000 of net profit in a single session and the account moves to live automatically. Profit above $10,000 that day is forfeited, so an $11,200 day gives up $1,200. Up to $5,000 of sim profit then moves into a Reserve.
Builder pays 80/20. The cap per cycle is $1,000 on the 25K and $2,000 on the 50K, with a $250 minimum on the 25K. After the fifth approved sim payout you move to live, where payouts are daily, the minimum drops to $250 and the consistency rule no longer applies. Builder allows one active sim funded account per user.
Pro pays 80/20 every 14 calendar days. You can withdraw up to 60% of your profit per request, with a $1,000 minimum and a $100,000 cap per user. On a 50K with $5,000 of profit at day 14, that is up to $3,000, of which you keep $2,400. One wording gap: MFFU's overview says the 60% can come out before the buffer is cleared, while the Pro plan page says the buffer must be cleared. We could not settle that from the help center, so check your dashboard before you plan around it. Three consecutive payouts move a Pro account toward live.
Why MFFU payouts get denied
Most refused or delayed requests trace back to the same few MFFU payout rules:
- Tier 1 news. Rapid and Pro sim funded accounts must be flat 2 minutes before and after FOMC, FOMC minutes, the employment report and CPI (plus EIA and crop reports if you trade those markets). For a CPI print at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC while US daylight time runs), you are out by 8:28 and back no earlier than 8:32. Our notes on trading NQ during high-impact news cover the minutes around those releases.
- Inactivity. Accounts bought from August 25, 2026 close after 7 calendar days with no trade. Tell support before a holiday.
- Paperwork. No KYC or no Riseworks account, no payout.
- The intraday floor. On Rapid 50K the max loss trails $2,000 below your equity high-water mark, open profit included. Open profit touches +$1,000 and the floor moves from −$2,000 to −$1,000, even if the trade then closes flat. That is a trailing drawdown, and it ends accounts that never reach the buffer.
- The Builder cooldown. A breach means 21 days with no sim trading and no new evaluations.
If a request is refused anyway, work through prop firm payout denied before you open a ticket. MyTradingBuddy is not affiliated with My Funded Futures, and the firm has the final say on every request.
From pass to paid: a routine
Passing proves you can hit a target. Getting paid asks for something duller: the same size, the same window and no hero day.
- Write down your plan's buffer, minimum, cap and consistency limit before the first funded trade.
- Keep each day under half of what you expect the cycle to make on Builder.
- Mark the Tier 1 releases for the week and be flat 2 minutes either side on Rapid and Pro.
- Trade at least once every 7 days.
- Before you request, compare the dashboard's withdrawable amount with your own sum.
- Re-read MFFU's payout policy overview and your plan page, such as Builder 50K or Rapid 50K, because we checked these numbers on October 4, 2026 and they change.
The trade that costs an MFFU payout is rarely a bad setup. It is a good setup taken at double size, or two minutes before CPI. A calm second read before the entry is where that gets caught. MyTradingBuddy reads your chart across timeframes and shows where an entry breaks the plan you wrote. It does not place trades and it does not send signals; the decision stays yours.
