Tradeify payout rules are not one rulebook. Each of the four funded plans pays on its own schedule, with its own caps, and a habit that works on Growth can get a Lightning request refused. This guide puts the Tradeify payout rules for every plan side by side, then runs the numbers on a 50K account so you know what a request is worth before you send it.
Every figure below comes from Tradeify's own help center, which I read on October 3, 2026. Tradeify changed several caps for accounts bought after September 1, 2026, and older accounts keep the older tables, so check the purchase date on yours. Firms revise these pages without much notice. Read the current one before each request.
The Tradeify payout rules in one table
This is the 50K account. Other sizes follow the same structure with different numbers, covered in each section below.
| Rule (50K) | Select Flex | Select Daily | Growth | Lightning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| When you can ask | Every 5 winning days | Any day above the buffer | 5 winning days and a minimum balance | When the profit goal is met |
| Winning day or goal | $150 or more | None | More than $150 | $3,000, then $2,000 |
| Consistency rule | None | None | 35% | 20%, 25%, then 30% |
| Cap per request | 50% of profit, max $2,500 | Max $1,250; 2× new profit from the 2nd | $1,500, rising to $3,000 | $2,000, then $2,500 from the 4th |
| Minimum request | $250 | $250 | $500 | $1,000 |
| Split | 90/10 | 90/10 | 90/10 | 90/10 |
The Select caps in the table apply to accounts bought after September 1, 2026. On an older 50K they are $3,000 for Flex and $1,000 for Daily. The Growth and Lightning tables changed earlier, on September 12, 2025.
Select Flex: a payout every 5 winning days
Select Flex is the plan with the fewest strings. There is no consistency rule, no daily loss limit and no minimum balance. You trade until you have 5 winning days, then ask.
A winning day is a session that closes at or above $100 on the 25K, $150 on the 50K, $200 on the 100K or $250 on the 150K.
Each request can be up to 50% of your total profit, meaning the current balance minus the starting balance, up to a cap:
| Size | Cap, bought after Sep 1, 2026 | Cap, bought before |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,250 | $1,250 |
| 50K | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| 100K | $3,500 | $4,000 |
| 150K | $4,500 | $5,000 |
Here is Tradeify's own 50K example. Five winning days take the balance to $52,500. Profit is $2,500, so you can request $1,250 and the balance drops to $51,250. Next cycle the balance reaches $54,000. Total profit is now $4,000, so the second request can be $2,000. The 50% is always measured on total profit, not on the latest cycle alone.
One side effect matters for risk. The 50K drawdown floor locks at $50,100 when an end-of-day balance reaches $52,100, or the moment you request a payout, whichever comes first. After that the floor never moves. You can see the full account terms on our Tradeify Select Flex 50K page, and Tradeify's source is its Select Flex and Select Daily payout policies.
Select Daily: payouts any day above a buffer
Select Daily trades the big caps for speed. You can request on any day, but only from profit above a buffer. The first request can be any profit above the buffer, up to the cap. From the second payout on, the daily continuity rule also limits each request to twice what you earned since the last one.
| Size | Daily loss limit | Buffer above start | Cap, bought after Sep 1, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $500 | $1,100 | $600 |
| 50K | $1,000 | $2,100 | $1,250 |
| 100K | $1,250 | $2,600 | $1,750 |
| 150K | $1,750 | $3,600 | $2,500 |
On a 50K that means the balance has to stay above $52,100 after the money leaves. After your first payout, earn $250 and you can ask for $500. Earn $700 and the 2× rule allows $1,400, but the cap stops you at $1,250. The minimum request is $250, so from the second payout on you need at least $125 of new profit to ask at all.
Choose carefully: once you pick Flex or Daily for a funded Select account, the choice is permanent.
Growth: 35% consistency, 5 winning days and a balance floor
Growth asks for three things on every request. Five or more trading days with profit above $100, $150, $200 or $250 depending on size. A balance at or above $26,500, $53,000, $104,500 or $156,500. And the 35% consistency rule: your biggest day can be no more than 35% of total profit for the cycle.
Tradeify's own example shows how the rule bites. Ten days, $10,000 of profit, and a best day of $4,000. That is 40%, so no payout yet. One more day at +$1,500 lifts the total to $11,500 and the best day falls to 34.7%. Now the request is allowed. The rule never stops you trading; it only decides when you can ask. I walk through the arithmetic in prop firm consistency rule explained.
The cap grows with each request:
| Payout number | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | $1,000 | $1,500 | $2,000 | $2,500 |
| 2nd | $1,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| 3rd | $1,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $4,000 |
| 4th and later | $1,000 | $3,000 | $4,000 | $5,000 |
The minimum request is $250, $500, $1,000 or $1,500 by size, and Tradeify says you receive 90% of the amount you request. On a 50K at $53,000, a $1,500 request leaves $51,500, which is only $1,400 above the $50,100 floor. Source: Growth Funded payout policy.
Lightning: profit goals instead of trading days
Lightning has no minimum day count. Instead you hit a profit goal, earned fresh after each payout, while keeping a consistency rule that tightens your best day.
| Size | Goal, 1st payout | Goal, 2nd onward | Cap, payouts 1–3 | Cap, 4th onward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,500 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 |
| 50K | $3,000 | $2,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 |
| 100K | $6,000 | $3,500 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| 150K | $9,000 | $4,500 | $3,000 | $3,500 |
The consistency limit is 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% after that, for accounts bought after September 12, 2025. The minimum request is $1,000, and on the 25K every payout is exactly $1,000.
The goal is not the payout. On a 150K you earn $9,000 to unlock the first request and can take $3,000 of it. Then the next goal is $4,500 of new profit, with no single day above $1,125. Leftover profit does not count toward the next goal. Source: Lightning Funded payout policy.
Rules that apply to every Tradeify payout
- Only one request can be open on an account at a time. On Growth and Lightning, a submitted request cannot be edited or canceled.
- On Select, every payout after the first needs a net positive cycle. Lose $2,000 after a payout and you earn it back, plus a dollar, before asking again.
- You can hold up to 5 funded accounts across Growth, Select and Lightning combined.
- Approved Growth payouts are paid within 24 to 48 hours, Lightning within 24 hours. Requests sent outside Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern, can take up to 72 hours.
- Tradeify considers a move to its Elite live program after 3 payouts on one account or 10 in total. Those are minimums, not a promise.
If a request comes back denied anyway, the steps in prop firm payout denied still apply.
Which Tradeify payout plan fits how you trade
Match the plan to your worst habit, not your best week.
- Uneven days with a few big winners: Select Flex. No consistency rule means one strong session does not block you.
- Small, steady days and a need for cash flow: Select Daily, accepting the lower caps and the daily loss limit.
- Even days and patience: Growth, where the 50K cap doubles from $1,500 to $3,000 by the fourth payout.
- A fast first payout with no day count: Lightning, as long as you can keep five or more days roughly the same size.
If your best day is often three times your average day, I would avoid Lightning. Tradeify's own FAQ says a 20% limit needs at least five profitable days of roughly equal size before the first request. For how Tradeify compares with two other popular futures firms, see Topstep vs Lucid vs Tradeify, and for the evaluation itself, how to pass Tradeify.
Every one of these plans punishes the same habit: one oversized trade that breaks the consistency math or drags the cycle negative. MyTradingBuddy reads your chart across timeframes before you enter and shows where the trade breaks the plan you wrote. You still make the call. See MyTradingBuddy plans.
